Elisa kit for mmp 9

Manufactured by R&D Systems
Sourced in United States

The ELISA Kit for MMP-9 is a quantitative assay designed for the measurement of MMP-9 (Matrix Metalloproteinase-9) levels in biological samples. The kit utilizes the sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) technique to detect and quantify the target analyte.

Quantifying MMP-9 and NO in OSA

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Blood samples were collected the morning following the PSG test, immediately centrifuged to collect plasma/serum, frozen at –80°C, and finally analyzed by enzyme‐linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). The ELISA Kit for MMP‐9 (ELISA, R&D Systems, Inc.) was used to quantify MMP‐9 levels in the serum of OSA patients. NO concentrations were determined using (R&D Systems, Catalog #KGE001, Inc.). This kit determines NO concentrations based on the enzymatic conversion of nitrate to nitrite by nitrate reductase. After the reaction, the nitrite as the product of azo dye in Griess reaction was detected by colorimetry.

Hypoxia-Induced MMP-9 Secretion in Aorta VEC

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Rat aorta VEC cells were purchased from Creative Bioarray (Cat. No. CSC-C8696W, Creative Bioarray, Shirley, NY, USA). Cells were cultured in DMEM supplemented with 10% fetal bovine serum (FBS) at 37°C in a humidified 5% CO2 atmosphere. The cells were exposed to hypoxia in a hypoxic incubator (Heraeus HERAcell 240i; Thermo Scientific, USA) filled with 3% oxygen, 5% CO2, and 92% nitrogen at 37°C for indicated time periods. Normoxia cells were cultured parallelly in a normal condition (37°C with 5% CO2). The ELISA kit for MMP-9 (ELISA, R&D Systems Inc., Minneapolis, MN, USA) was used to quantify MMP-9 levels in the serum of OSAS patients' and conditional cultured medium of rat aorta VEC cells.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
