Disodium hydrogenophosphate

Manufactured by Merck Group
Sourced in Germany, France

Disodium hydrogenophosphate is a chemical compound commonly used as a buffering agent in various laboratory applications. It is a white crystalline or granular substance that helps maintain a specific pH range in solutions. The core function of disodium hydrogenophosphate is to stabilize and control the acidity or basicity of the solution, ensuring consistent and reliable experimental conditions.

Chiral Analysis of Fluoxetine Enantiomers

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
R,S-fluoxetine and S-fluoxetine of pharmaceutical grade were acquired from Solmag (Mulazzano, Italy). Phosphoric acid (85%), disodium hydrogenophosphate, and sodium dihydrogenophosphate were purchased from Merck (Darmstadt, Germany), and sodium hydroxide was from Lach Ner (Neratovice, Czech Republic). Deionized water was produced by a Milli-Q system (Millipore, USA). All reagents were of analytical grade.
The following CDs were used as chiral additives: native neutral CDs (β-CD, γ-CD), derivatized neutral CDs (hydroxypropyl-β-CD – HP-β-CD, randomly methylated β-CD – RAMEB, heptakis (2,6-di-O-methyl)-β-CD - DIMEB, heptakis(2,3,6-tri-O-methyl)- β-CD - TRIMEB), derivatized ionizable CDs (carboxymethyl-β-CD - CM-β-CD, sulfobuthylether-β-CD SBE-β-CD). All CDs were obtained from Cyclolab (Budapest, Hungary) with the exception of SBE-β-CD – (Capsitol®) which was obtained from Cydex Corp. (USA).
For the determination from pharmaceutical products, Prozac (Eli Lilly, USA) and Fluoxin (VimSpectrum, Romania) capsules containing 20 mg fluoxetine were used. The pharmaceutical preparations were purchased from a local pharmacy.

Royal jelly was obtained from honeybee keepers of the plain of Mitidja located in North Algeria center in April 2011 and stored at −20 °C, β-Lg, the diamine-orthophenylene, anti-mouse IgG biotinylated, extravidin peroxidase, Tween 20, di-potassium hydrogeno-phosphate, magnesium chloride, potassium phosphate, poly(vinyl alcohol) and H2O2 were purchased from Sigma (St. Louis, MO). Alum [Al(OH)3], sulphuric acid, disodium hydrogeno-phosphate, calcium chloride, haematoxylin–eosin (H&E) stains were purchased from Merck (Darmstadt, Germany). Potassium chloride and sodium chloride were purchased from Prolabo (Paris, France); IgE biotinylated monoclonal specific antibody (Pharmingen, France). All materials and instruments of Ussing chamber were purchased from Physiologic Instruments (San Diego, CA).

Synthesis and Characterization of Derivatives

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
The original derivatives 1-4 (Figure 1) were designed and synthesized by some of us according to previously described protocols [11] [12] [13] 19] . Tacrine, ibuprofen, carbamazepine and poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO, average Mw 200,000) were purchased from Sigma-Aldrich (Saint-Quentin Fallavier, France). Hydroxypropylcellulose (HPC, average Mw 80,000) was purchased from Ashland Aqualon (Wilmington, SA). Poly(N,N-dimethylacrylamide) (PDMA, average Mw 2,400) was purchased from Polymer Source (Dorval, Quebec, Canada). The structure of these polymers are displayed in Figure 1.
Risperidone was a gift from Janssen-Cilag (Issy-les-Moulineaux, France). Sodium hydroxide, chlorhydric acid 37%, sodium dihydrogenophosphate monohydrate and di-sodium hydrogenophosphate were purchased from Merck (Nogent-sur-Marne, France). Deionized water was obtained from Milli-Q system (Millipore, Saint-en-Yvelines, France). Deuterium oxide (100%) was purchased from Euriso-top (Gif sur Yvette, France).

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
