Expressions of the BKCa channel α-subunit in rat hepatocyte endoplasmic reticulum was determined using an antibody directed against BKCa channel α-subunit (rabbit polyclonal antibody, AB-104467, Abcam, Cambridge, UK). Secondary antibodies linked to horseradish peroxidase were obtained from GE-Biosciences. Blots were finally treated with ECL kit for chemiluminescence detection.
