Goat anti-rabbit immunoglobulin-G and goat anti-mouse immunoglobulin-G antibodies coupled to horseradish peroxidase were obtained from BioRad Laboratories (Hercules, California, USA) and Sigma, respectively. Isopropyl β-d-1-thiogalactopyranoside (IPTG) was from Sigma. The EZ-ECL chemiluminescent substrate was from Biological Industries (Kibbutz Beit Haemek, Israel). Hygromycin was from Calbiochem, La Jolla, California, USA. Cell media and antibiotics were from Gibco-BRL, Scotland, UK. Foetal bovine serum (FBS) was from Hyclone, Logan, Utah, USA. All other reagents used for western blots or cell culture were from Sigma or of the highest grade available.
