Vybrant mtt cell proliferation assay kit mtt

Manufactured by Thermo Fisher Scientific
Sourced in United States

The Vybrant® MTT cell proliferation assay kit (MTT) is a colorimetric assay used to measure cell metabolic activity. The assay involves the conversion of the tetrazolium dye MTT (3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide) into a purple formazan product by the mitochondrial enzymes of living cells.

Chitosan-Based Nanocarrier for Targeted Delivery

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Chitosan, GTMAC (purity ≥ 90%), TPP (purity ≥ 98%), sodium nitrite (purity ≥ 97%), lipopolysaccharides (LPS) from Salmonella enteric serotype typhimurium (purity ≥ 99%) were purchased from Sigma-Aldrich (St. Louis, USA). Chitosan was purified before its subsequent application, and its molecular weight was tailored by depolymerization using sodium nitrite following a reported method [34 (link)]. Viscosity-average molecular weight of the resultant Chitosan was measured as 1.8×104 Da using a 0.5 M CH3COOH/0.2 M CH3COONa solvent system [35 ]. Oligofectamine (OF), 4′,6-diamidino-2-phenyl-indole dihydrochloride (DAPI), FITC fluorescently tagged siRNA (FITC-siRNA) and Vybrant® MTT cell proliferation assay kit (MTT) were obtained from Invitrogen (Eugene, USA). GelRed was from Biotium (Hayward, USA). siTNF was purchased from Santa Cruz Biotechnology (Santa Cruz, CA), and its sequences were CGUCGUAGCAAACCACCAATT (sense strand) and UUGGUGGUUUGCUACGACGTG (anti-sense strand). All commercial products were used without further purification unless otherwise stated. Deionized water was obtained using a Milli-Q water purification system.

Chitosan, urocanic acid, sodium nitrite, 2-(N-morpholino) ethanesulfonic acid sodium salt (MES), 1-ethyl-3-(diethylaminopropyl)carbodiimide (EDC), N-hydroxysuccinimide (NHS), lipopolysaccharides (LPS) from Salmonella enteric serotype typhimurium were purchased from Sigma-Aldrich (St. Louis, USA). Molecular weight of Chitosan was tailored by depolymerization using sodium nitrite following a reported method [28 (link)]. Viscosity-average molecular weight of the resultant Chitosan was measured as 1.8×104 using a 0.5 M CH3COOH/0.2 M CH3COONa solvent system [29 ]. Oligofectamine (OF), 4′,6-diamidino-2-phenyl-indole dihydrochloride (DAPI), FITC fluorescently tagged siRNA (FITC-siRNA) and Vybrant® MTT cell proliferation assay kit (MTT) were obtained from Invitrogen (Eugene, USA). GelRed was from Biotium (Hayward, USA). siCD98 was purchased from Santa Cruz Biotechnology (Santa Cruz, USA). All commercial products were used without further purification.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
