Male swiss mice
Male Swiss mice are a commonly used laboratory animal model. They are rodents of the species Mus musculus, specifically the Swiss Webster strain. These mice are known for their gentle temperament and are widely used in a variety of research applications.

Behavioral and Histological Effects of Oxaliplatin-Induced Neuropathy in Mice
Behavioral tests were performed on day 1 (D1), D3, and D5 following the last OXP injection, except for the jump test, which was performed on D1 and D3 only to avoid acclimation of the mice to the test. All animals were submitted to the functional tests, except for the jump test, the day before the start of experiment (reference day: RD) to obtain the baseline for each animal. Immunohistochemistry and morphological analyses were performed one day after the last OXP injection, the time corresponding to the maximum of sensory impairment (

Mouse Housing and Feeding Protocols
Male Swiss mice (Janvier Laboratories, Saint Isle, France). Mice were fed ad libitum.
Female BALB/c mice aged 5 to 7 weeks were purchased from Janvier Laboratories, France. Mice were housed at 5 animals per cage with sterile bedding in HEPA–filtered racks (Tecniplast, France) in certified animal biosafety level 3 (ABSL-3) laboratories. Temperatures were maintained at 65-75°F (∼18-23 °C) with 40-60% humidity. Specific pathogen-free status was verified by testing sentinel mice housed within the same rack. Mice had ad libitum access to water and food pellets.
For combination studies, Female BALB/c mice 6-8 weeks old, purchased from Charles River (Wilmington, MA, USA) were used.

Mouse Housing and Behavioral Experiments
2 g, from JANVIER labs (Saint Berthevin, France) were kept in for
housing, and experiments took place within the animal facility building
of the University of Montpellier (CECEMA, Office of Veterinary Services
agreement # B-34-172-23). Upon arrival, animals were divided into
groups and housed with access to food and water ad libitum, except
during behavioral experiments. Mice were kept in a temperature- and
humidity-controlled animal facility on a 12 h/12 h light/dark cycle
(lights off at 07:00 PM). Behavioral experiments were conducted between
9:00 and 17:00 in a sound-attenuated and air-regulated experimental
room. All animal procedures were conducted in strict adherence to
the European Union directive of September 22, 2010 (2010/63/UE) and
the ARRIVE guidelines. The project was authorized by the French National
Ethic Committee (APAFIS no. 148515034).85 (link)

About PubCompare
Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.
We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.
However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
