803, breast cancer cell line MDA-MB-231, and ovarian carcinoma cell
line SKOV-3 were obtained from Cell Bank, Type Culture Collection
of Chinese Academy of Sciences (Shanghai, People’s Republic
of China). The human lung cancer cell A549 and hepatocellular cancer
cell HepG 2 were gifts from Professor Tao Wu (Shanghai University
of Traditional Chinese Medicine). The MDA-MB-231 and HepG 2 cells
were cultured in DMEM medium (Meilunbio, People’s Republic
of China). MGC 803 and A549 cells were cultured in RPMI 1640 medium
(Meilunbio). SKOV-3 cells were cultured in McCoy’s 5A medium
(Gibco). The medium contained 10% heat-inactivated fetal bovine serum
(Gibco), 100 units/mL penicillin, and 100 μg/mL streptomycin
(Gibco). Cells were incubated at 37 °C in a humidified atmosphere
of 5% CO2.
About PubCompare
Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.
We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.
However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
