Surveyor ms quaternary pump

Manufactured by Thermo Fisher Scientific
Sourced in United States

The Surveyor MS quaternary pump is a high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) pump designed for use in mass spectrometry applications. It features four independent solvent channels, allowing for the delivery of up to four different solvents or buffers to the HPLC system. The pump delivers precise and accurate flow control, ensuring stable and reproducible chromatographic separations.

Quantification of Midazolam and Metabolite

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Plasma concentrations of midazolam and 1′-hydroxymidazolam were quantified using HPLC-MS/MS on a system consisting of a Surveyor HPLC autosampler, Surveyor MS quaternary pump, and TSQ Quantum Discovery triple quadrupole mass spectrometer (Thermo Scientific, San Jose, CA). After liquid-liquid extraction, midazolam and metabolite concentrations were measured simultaneously with electrospray ionization in the positive mode as described previously.13 (link) midazolam, midazolam d4, 1′-hydroxymidazolam, and 1′-hydroxymidazolam-d4 were purchased from Cerilliant (Round Rock, TX). The lower limit of quantification for both midazolam and 1′-hydroxymidazolam was0.2 ng/ml, and the accuracy and precision were within 7%.

LC-MS/MS Analysis Protocol

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
LC MS/MS analysis was carried out by a Thermo Finnigan HPLC system (Thermo Fisher, San Jos e, CA, USA), consisting in a Surveyor MS quaternary pump with a degasser, and a Surveyor AS autosampler, a column oven and a Rheodyne valve with 20 ll sample loop. The mass spectrometer system was a TSQ Quantum triple quadrupole (Thermo Fisher Scientific, San Jose, CA, USA) equipped with an electrospray interface (ESI) set in the negative polarity ionisation mode. The analysis was performed in multiple reaction monitoring (MRM). Acquisition data were recorded and elaborated using XCALIBUR TM software from Thermo.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
