Fitc conjugated anti mouse cd117

Manufactured by BD

FITC-conjugated anti-mouse CD117 is a laboratory reagent used to detect and identify cells expressing the CD117 antigen, also known as c-Kit, in mouse samples. It is a fluorescently labeled monoclonal antibody that binds specifically to the CD117 receptor on the surface of cells.

Leukemia Progression Monitoring in Mice

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
To ensure leukemia development and engraftment, peripheral blood (PB) samples were taken from the tail of mice for complete blood counts using an automated cell counter (Sysmex KX-21N, Sysmex America, Inc., Mundelein, IL) and flow cytometry (FCM) (BD FACS Canto II, BD Biosciences, San Diego, CA). The spleens from dead or euthanized animals were analyzed for evidence of AML. Single-cell suspensions from PB samples were stained with fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC)-conjugated anti-mouse CD117, phycoerythrin (PE)-conjugated anti-mouse CD34 and allophycocyanin (APC)-conjugated anti-mouse Ly-6G and Ly-6C (myeloid differentiation antigen, Gr-1) (all from BD Biosciences Pharmingen, San Diego, CA). A minimum of 10,000 events were acquired for each sample by FCM and data analyzed using FACSDiva software (BD Biosciences, San Diego, CA).

FcεRIα and CD117 Expression on BMMC Cells

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Cultured BMMC cells were lifted and washed with FACS buffer (PBS + 0.5% FBS) in a 5ml polystyrene round bottom tube. After centrifugation at 500g for 5 min at 4°C, the supernatant was aspirated, and cells were incubated for 5 mins in anti-mouse CD16/32 (BD Sciences) monoclonal antibodies at a dilution of 1/200 in FACS buffer to block nonspecific binding. Following blocking, cells were then stained in PE conjugated antimouse FcεRIα (BD Biosciences) 1/200 and FITC conjugated anti-mouse CD117 (BD Biosciences) 1/200 in FACS buffer. These were incubated for 15-30 min on ice, washed in FACS buffer and centrifuged at 500g, 5mins at 4°C. Cell pellets were resuspended in 200-400μl of diluted propidium iodide (PI) in FACS buffer (final concentration 1μg/ml). Data acquisition was performed on BD FACS CANTO (BD Biosciences) and the results were analyzed with FACS Diva Software (BD Biosciences).

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
