Hindlimb Clasping Behavior Assay

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
At P30 each mouse was held by the tail at least 10 inches away from a hood bench (measured from the tip of the tail) for 30 s. Each mouse received two trials, with 5 minutes inter-trial intervals. Trials were recorded with a Samsung HMX-F80 camera and scored offline. Clasping behavior was defined by movement of the hindlimbs (either one or both) curling inward toward the belly of the animal. Data presented as the total time spent clasping across two trials.

Rodent Exploratory Behavior Analysis

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
The behavioral responses of the animals for all experiments were analyzed given the following criteria. We defined exploration of an object as the rat directing its nose to the object at a distance of <2 cm and/or touching it with its nose. Turning around or sitting on the object was not considered exploratory behavior. Encoding, practice, and test phases were recorded using cameras (model HMX-F80, Samsung). The cameras were located on top of each arena, allowing the visualization of the complete space. Offline analysis was performed using Stopwatch software (Center for Behavioral Neuroscience, Emory University, Atlanta, GA) by a trained person. The test phase was analyzed by an experimenter who was blind to the conditions of the experiment.
Based on these criteria, we calculated a discrimination index (DI) for each trial of each session on each condition, as follows.

Tactical Analysis of Soccer Performance

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
For test performance, the players were recorded with a digital Samsung HMX-F80 video camera as they executed the GR3-3GR field test (Costa et al., 2009 ). The videos were analysed using Soccer Analyser® software. This software was built specifically to assist in FUT-SAT analysis; it inserts spatial references into the video, allowing for a more rigorous evaluation of the positioning and movement of players on the field (Costa et al., 2011a ). The assessments totalled 3689 tactical actions.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
