Corevalve evolut r pro pro

Manufactured by Medtronic
Sourced in United States

The CoreValve Evolut R/ Pro/Pro + is a transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) system developed by Medtronic. It is designed to be used in the treatment of severe aortic stenosis. The device is delivered through a minimally invasive procedure and is intended to replace the patient's diseased aortic valve.

Transfemoral TAVI Approach Protocols

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
We chose the transfemoral approach as the first option when patients did not have an excessively narrow access route for insertion of the sheath or aortic arch atheroma. We performed TAVI under general anesthesia in a hybrid operating room, except for six patients who underwent conscious sedation because of pulmonary dysfunction. Transcatheter heart valves were classified as balloonexpandable (Edwards Sapien XT or Sapien 3 Transcatheter Heart Valve; Edwards Lifesciences, Irvine, CA, USA) or self-expandable (Medtronic classic CoreValve or CoreValve Evolut R/ Pro/Pro + ; Medtronic, Inc., Minneapolis, MN, USA). Balloon-expandable valves were the first choice, and self-expandable valves were reserved for patients with a narrow aortic annulus and/or in the case of the trans-subclavian approach.

Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
We selected transfemoral approach as our first option and an alternative access (transapical, transaortic, transsubclavian) for patients with excessively narrow access routes or aortic arch atheroma. We performed TAVI in a hybrid operating room under general anesthesia, except for eight patients who underwent conscious sedation because of pulmonary dysfunction. Transcatheter heart valves were used either balloon-expandable (Edwards Sapien XT or Sapien 3 Transcatheter Heart Valve; Edwards Lifesciences, Irvine, CA, USA) or self-expandable (Medtronic classic CoreValve or CoreValve Evolut R/Pro/Pro+; Medtronic, Inc., Minneapolis, MN, USA). We chose Balloon-expandable valves as the first option, while self-expandable valves were reserved for patients with a narrow aortic annulus.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
