CFU Assay of Lung and Spleen Tissues

For CFU assay in tissues, tissues of lung and spleen from sacrificed mice were homogenized in 1 mL 7H9 broth (BD) supplemented with 2 g/L sodium pyruvate, 0.05% Tween 80, and 10% OADC using OmniTip Plastic Homogenizer Probes (Omni International, Bedford, MA, USA). Aerosol Mtb Infection in Mice
