Acetonitrile was obtained from Karl Roth GmbH (Karlsruhe, Germany) and ethyl acetate from AppliChem (Darmstadt, Germany). Further chemicals and solvents used were supplied by Sigma-Aldrich GmbH (Steinheim, Germany). All reagents and solvents were either of analytical or LC grade.
Lercanidipine
Lercanidipine is a calcium channel blocker developed by Merck Group. It is a dihydropyridine derivative used in the treatment of hypertension. The core function of Lercanidipine is to block the entry of calcium ions into the muscle cells of the heart and blood vessels, leading to vasodilation and a reduction in blood pressure.

Quantification of Cardiovascular Drugs
Acetonitrile [99.9%, high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC)-R grade], absolute methanol [liquid chromatography/mass spectrometry (LC/MS) grade], and formic acid (FA) (99.9%, UHPLC/MS grade) were purchased from Biosolve (Valkenswaard, Netherlands). Ammonium hydroxide (AH) was purchased from Merck Millipore (Darmstadt, Germany). Deionized water was produced with a Milli-Q Advantage A10 purification system from Merck-Millipore (Darmstadt, Germany). Fresh human blood without AHDs was obtained from patients who provided consent to use the remnant material for other purposes.

About PubCompare
Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.
We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.
However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
