Comparative RT-qPCR Analysis of mazEF Mutant

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Total RNA of both wild type and mazEF mutant strains were extracted as described (Dai et al., 2020 (link)) and then cDNA was amplified using SYBR Premix Ex TaqTM GC (TaKaRa). RT-qPCR assays were performed using the Mx3005TMP Real-time detection system (Agilent, United States) and groEL was used to normalize RNA input. Experiments were repeated three times. RT-qPCR primers are listed in Supplementary Table S1.

Validating RNA-seq Data Quality via RT-qPCR

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
The reliability of the RNA-seq data was verified using 13 DEGs with different fold-change values (seven up-regulated and six down-regulated genes). Total RNA was extracted and cDNA was amplified using SYBR Premix Ex TaqTM (TaKaRa). RT-qPCR assays were performed using the Mx3005TMP Real-time detection system (Agilent, United States) and DR_1343 was used to normalize expression. RT-qPCR primers are listed in Supplementary Table S2.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
