Cellular Iron Homeostasis Regulation

A4034; Sigma-Aldrich, Saint Louis, MO, USA) all dissolved in water. Calcein (no. 21030 Sigma-Aldrich, Saint Louis, MO, USA), Calcein-AM (no. ALX-610-026 Calcein-acetoxymethyl ester, Enzo Life, Lausen, Switzerland) and MTT (thiazolyl blue tetrazolium bromide, no. M5655 Sigma-Aldrich, Saint Louis, MO, USA) were also used.

M5655, Sigma-Aldrich, Saint Louis, MO).
Iron dextran (Cod. D851, Sigma-Aldrich, Saint Louis, MO) was diluted in saline buffer.
