B6.129s2 ighmtm1cgn j mt

Manufactured by Jackson ImmunoResearch
Sourced in Montenegro, United States

B6.129S2-Ighmtm1Cgn/J (µMT) is a strain of genetically modified mice that lack functional B cells. The mutation in the Igh gene prevents the expression of functional immunoglobulin heavy chains, which are essential for B cell development. This mouse strain is commonly used in research as a model to study the role of B cells in various biological processes.

NR1 transgenic mice expressing a TCR transgene specific for the C. trachomatis antigen Cta1133–152 have been described previously (25 (link)). CXCR3−/−CCR5−/− mice were generated by crossing CXCR3−/− and CCR5−/− mice. Mice were maintained within the Harvard Medical School Center for Animal Resources and Comparative Medicine. All experiments in this report were approved by Harvard’s Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
