Fluorescence Spectral Analysis of Phenolic Compounds

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
To achieve the attribution of the fluorescence spectral regions, phenolic compounds standards (98–99% purities), including methyl syringate, caffeic, ferulic, syringic, and vanillic acid were purchased from Sigma-Aldrich (Steinheim, Germany). Also, kaempferol, catechin, and phenolic acids (sinapic, gentisic, ellagic, chlorogenic, homogentisic, p-coumaric, protocatechuic, gallic) were purchased from Extrasynthese (Geney, France). Standards were dissolved in MS-grade acetonitrile solution (0.01 mg/mL) (Sigma- Aldrch Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany).

Quantification of Phenolic Compounds

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Standards of phenolics, including kaempferol, catechin, chrysin, hesperetin, isorhamentin, naringenin, and phenolic acids (gallic, chlorogenic, ellagic, gentisic, homogentisic, pcoumaric, protocatechuic, sinapic) were purchased from Extrasynthese (Genay, France). Methyl syringate, caffeic, ferulic, syringic, and vanillic acids were purchased from Sigma-Aldrich (Steinheim, Germany). The purities of the standards were 98-99%. The chemical structures are shown in Table S1. All solutions were prepared by dissolving the abovementioned phenolic compounds in MS-grade acetonitrile (0.01 mg/mL) (Sigma-Aldrich Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany).

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
