Culturing Normal and Breast Cancer Cells

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Normal MCF‐10A cells and BC cell lines (MCF‐7, MDA‐MB‐231, BT‐549, and T47D) were purchased from COBIOER. BC cell lines were cultured in the RPMI‐1640 medium (COBIOER) plus 1% penicillin–streptomycin (COBIOER) and 10% fetal bovine serum (FBS, COBIOER). MCF‐10A cells were grown in MEBM BulletKit. All medium was maintained at 37°Cwith 5% CO2.

Microglia BV2 Cells Stimulated with LPS

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Mouse microglia BV2 were bought from COBIOER Biosciences CO., Ltd (Nanjing, China). BV2 cells were grown in RPMI-1640 medium containing 10% FBS (COBIOER, Nanjing, China). The medium was placed in a 5% CO2 cell incubator. BV2 cells were stimulated by 100 ng/mL lipopolysaccharide (LPS) (Sigma-Aldrich, Shanghai, China) for 24 h to establish the SCI model in vitro.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
