Ms grade methanol meoh

Manufactured by Thermo Fisher Scientific

MS-grade methanol (MeOH) is a high-purity solvent used in various analytical applications, including mass spectrometry (MS) and liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS). It serves as a mobile phase component and sample diluent, contributing to the optimization of separation and detection processes in analytical workflows.

Lipid Standards Preparation and Bacterial Lipid Extraction

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Lipid standards, PE 16:0/18:1 and CL 18:1/18:1/18:1/18:1, and Escherichia Coli (E. coli) were purchased from Avanti Polar Lipids, Inc (Alabaster, AL). MS-grade methanol (MeOH) was purchased from Fischer-Scientific (Pittsburg, PA). The lipid standards were dissolved in MeOH separately to generate stock solutions of ~5mM. PE 16:0/18:1 and CL 18:1/18:1/18:1/18:1 stock solutions were then diluted together to final concentrations ranging of 5-100 µM each. E. coli lipid extract was dissolved in MeOH to a stock solution of 1 mg/mL and diluted to a final concentration of 0.05 mg/mL.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
