Fitc labeled annexin 5 and pi

Manufactured by Keygen Biotech
Sourced in China

FITC-labeled Annexin V and PI are fluorescently-labeled proteins used for detecting and quantifying apoptosis, a type of programmed cell death. Annexin V binds to phosphatidylserine, which is exposed on the cell surface during apoptosis. FITC (Fluorescein Isothiocyanate) is used to label Annexin V, allowing for detection by fluorescence microscopy or flow cytometry. Propidium Iodide (PI) is a DNA-intercalating dye that can be used to identify late-stage apoptotic or necrotic cells.

Annexin V/PI Apoptosis Assay

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
After the indicated treatments, cells were stained by FITC-labeled Annexin V and PI (Nanjing Keygen Biotech, Nanjing, Jiangsu, China) depending to its protocol. FACS analysis for Annexin V/PI double staining was done with a BD FACS Calibur machine (BD Biosciences). Dead cells consisted of PI+ cells (Q1), PI + FITC+ cells (Q2) and FITC+ cells (Q4). All experiments were carried out three times.

Annexin V-FITC and PI Apoptosis Assay

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
BV2 cells were seeded on 6‐well plates for 24 h. After being treated with OGD and Met, the cells were harvested and suspended in PBS, and then treated for 30 min with FITC‐labeled Annexin V and PI (Nanjing KeyGen Biotech. Co. Ltd.) for 10 min at room temperature in the dark. Next, the cells were incubated with binding buffer (400 μl). Finally, the flow cytometry (EMD Millipore, Billerica, MA, USA) was used to test cell apoptosis.

Annexin V-FITC/PI Assay for Paclitaxel-Treated MCF-7 Cells

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
For the annexin V-FITC/PI assay, MCF-7/paclitaxel cells were collected after a 72-h treatment and stained with FITC-labeled annexin V and PI according to the manufacturer's instructions (KeyGEN Biotech Inc., China). The fluorescence levels were analyzed by flow cytometry (Beckman Coulter, USA).

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
