Meloxicam (MX) was kindly gifted by Amoun Pharmaceutical Co. (Cairo, Egypt). Peppermint oil, propylene glycol, fumed silica, hydroxypropyl cellulose, Kollidon, spray-dried lactose, sorbitol, and gelatin were purchased from Tedia Company (Fairfield, OH, USA). Oleic acid, soybean oil, Sefsol, palm kernel oil, coconut oil, and Labrafac Lipophile WL 1349, Tween 80, Span 80, Labrasol, Triton, Cremophor, Kollifor, polyglyceryl oleate, and Plurol were generously gifted by Gattefosse (Saint-Priest, France). E-Liquid Flavor and Nicotine Preparation

Hexyl acetate (catalog #A0032) and methylbutyl acetate (catalog #A1076) were obtained from TCI Chemicals, ethyl acetate was obtained from Chem-Impex International (catalog #00757), nicotine salt (ditartrate dihydrate) was obtained from Acros Organics (catalog #AC415660500), (-)-menthol was obtained from Alfa Aesar (catalog #A10474), dihydro-β-erythroidine (DhβE) hydrobromide was purchased from ApexBio (catalog #B7030), propylene glycol was obtained from Tedia (catalog# PR1494-065), and vegetable glycerin was obtained from J.T. Baker (catalog #2143-01). Chitosan-Based ACV Formulations for Topical Use

Low molecular weight chitosan (40,000 Da), viscosity of 1 wt% in 1% acetic acid ranged 20–300 cP, with deacetylation grade of 84%; medium molecular weight chitosan (480,000 Da), viscosity of 1 wt% in 1% acetic acid ranged 200–800 cP, with deacetylation grade 81%; and high molecular weight chitosan (850,000 Da), viscosity of 1 wt% in 1% acetic acid ranged 500–2,000 cP, with deacetylation grade 90% were purchased from Aldrich Chemical Co. All reagents and chemicals were of analytical grade.
