All chemicals were used without purification. Montmorillonite K 10 (MMT) and oleic acid were purchased from Tokyo Kasei (Tokyo, Japan). Cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB, 99%), mitoxantrone hydrochloride (MIT, 98.0–102.0%), tetraethylene glycol (TEG, C6H14O4), iron(III) acetylacetonate (Fe(acac)3, 99.9+%) and platinum(II) acetylacetonate (Pt(acac)2, 99%) were obtained from Sigma-Aldrich (Saint Louis, MO, U.S.). Ethanol (C2H5OH, 99.8%) was purchased from Nippon Kayaku (Tokyo, Japan). Tetraethylene glycol (C6H14O4) was obtained from Alfa Aesar (Haverhill, MA, USA). The minimum essential medium (MEM), Dulbecco's modified eagle medium (DMEM), fetal bovine serum (FBS), and penicillin-streptomycin-glutamine (PSG) supplement for the culture medium were purchased from Gibco (Waltham, MA, USA).

Materials synthesis: Nickel(II) acetylacetonate (Ni(acac) 2 , Sigma Aldrich), cobalt (II) acetylacetonate (Co(acac) 2 , Sigma Aldrich), iron (II) acetylacetonate (Fe(acac) 2 , Sigma Aldrich), platinum(II) acetylacetonate (Pt(acac) 2 , Sigma Aldrich), dicyandiamide (C 2 H 8 N 2 , Sigma Aldrich) were purchased and used without further treatment. In the case of NiSA-N-CNTs, Ni(acac) 2 was dispersed with C 2 H 8 N 2 in 100 ml solution and stirred for 10 h, followed by drying and grinding. Subsequently, the mixture was heated at 350 o C for 3 h and then at 650 o C for 3 h under Ar with a flow rate of 50 mL min -1 .
Subsequently, the as-prepared yellow powder was heated in a selected temperature range of 700-900 o C. The obtained sample was denoted as NiSA-N-CNTs. Similarly, CoSA-N-CNTs, NiCoSA-N-CNTs, CoFeSA-N-CNTs and NiPtSA-N-CNTs were prepared.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
