Hrp conjugated anti mouse igg fab antibody

Manufactured by Merck Group

The HRP-conjugated anti-mouse IgG-Fab antibody is a laboratory reagent used for detection and quantification of mouse immunoglobulin G (IgG) in various immunoassay techniques. The antibody is conjugated with the enzyme horseradish peroxidase (HRP), which allows for colorimetric or chemiluminescent detection when exposed to the appropriate substrate.

ZIKV Antibody Detection by ELISA

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
ZIKV-, E-, or NS3-specific IgG antibodies were detected by ELISA in the immunized mouse sera (Du et al., 2016 (link); Tai et al., 2019a (link)). Briefly, ELISA plates were pre-coated with ZIKV E ectodomain (1 μg/ml), NS3 peptides, or ZIKV (human strain R103451 (2015/Honduras))-infected Vero E6 cell lysates at 4°C overnight and blocked with PBS-T containing 2% non-fat milk at 37°C for 2 h. After three washes with PBS-T, the plates were then sequentially incubated at 37°C for 1 h with serially diluted mouse sera and HRP-conjugated anti-mouse IgG-Fab antibody (1:5,000, Sigma). The substrate 3,3′,5,5′-tetramethylbenzidine (TMB) (Sigma) was added to the plates, and the reaction was stopped after addition of 1N H2SO4. Absorbance at 450 nm (A450) was measured using ELISA plate reader (Tecan).

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
