trisodium salt)] was obtained from Merck, Mumbai, India. Candida albicans (MTCC 4748) was procured from IMTECH
(Institute of Microbial Technology, Chandigarh, Punjab, India). Macrophage
(J774A.1) and L929 cell lines were procured and maintained as per
M/s ATCC (American Type Culture Collection), Manassas, USA.
