Phospho alk y1282 1283

Manufactured by Cell Signaling Technology

Phospho-ALK (Y1282/1283) is a laboratory reagent used to detect and quantify the phosphorylation of the Anaplastic Lymphoma Kinase (ALK) protein at tyrosine residues 1282 and 1283. This product is designed for research use only and its core function is to provide a tool for studying the activation state of the ALK protein.

5×105 cells were treated in 6 well plates for 6 hours with the indicated drugs. Cells protein lysates were prepared as previously described (6 , 11 (link)). Phospho-ERK (T202/Y204), ERK, S6, phosphor S6, phospho-AKT (S473 and T308), AKT, phospho-ALK (Y1282/1283), and ALK antibodies were obtained from Cell Signaling Technology. GAPDH was purchased from Millipore.

Immunoblotting for Kinase Phosphorylation

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Immunoblotting method was also used to determine relative kinase phosphorylation status and total protein levels in cells and tumor tissues for the protein of interest. Extracted protein samples from cells or tumor lysates were separated by SDS-PAGE, transferred to nylon membranes, and immunoblotting hybridizations for the proteins of the interest were performed using the corresponding antibodies. Phospho-ERK (T202/Y204), ERK, S6, phospho S6, phospho-AKT (S473 and T308), AKT, phospho-ALK (Y1282/1283), and ALK antibodies were obtained from Cell Signaling Technology. GAPDH was purchased from Millipore.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
