Rabbit anti tomm20

Manufactured by ABclonal

Rabbit anti-Tomm20 is a primary antibody that recognizes the Translocase of Outer Mitochondrial Membrane 20 (Tomm20) protein, which is a key component of the mitochondrial protein import machinery. This antibody can be used for the detection and localization of Tomm20 in various applications, such as Western blotting and immunofluorescence microscopy.

After treatment, HT22 cells were fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde for 15 minutes at room temperature. Cells were blocked for 10 minutes with a quick blocking solution and then incubated overnight at 4°C with rabbit anti-Tomm20 (1:100, Abclonal, Cat# A19403, RRID: AB_2862646). After three washes in PBS-Tween 20, the cells were incubated with Alexa Fluor 594 conjugate anti-rabbit IgG (1:100, Abclonal, Cat# AS039) for 1 hour at room temperature. Then, 2 μM BD493 in Hoechst33342 was used to stain the sections for 10 minutes at room temperature. After three washes in PBS, the cells were imaged under a confocal microscope.

Mitochondrial Protein Analysis by Western Blot

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Cells were harvested by digestion with Trypsin. After centrifugation at 1000 rpm, cells were resuspended in ice-cold lysis buffer (Beyotime Biotechnology, Cat# P0013C) for 30 min on ice. Lysates were centrifugated at 10,000g for 10 min and the supernatant was collected. Western blot analysis was performed using standard protocols, and the following commercial antibodies were used: rabbit anti-TFAM (Abcam, Cat# 176558), rabbit anti-beta Actin (Proteintech, Cat# 20536-1-AP), rabbit anti-TOMM20 (Abclonal, Cat# A6774), and rabbit anti-TIMM23 (Abclonal, Cat# A8688), mouse anti-α-Tubulin (Abclonal, Cat# AC012).

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
