Plant extracts from E. brevicornu, C. sativus L., L. angustifolia, A. officinalis, and S. tenuifolia were purchased from Ciyuan Biotech (Xi’an, Shanxi, China). All other chemicals were of analytical grade or chromatographically pure, and were commercially available.

Phytochemical Extraction and Analysis
