acid, and fetal bovine serum (FBS) were purchased from Thermo Scientific

Synthesis and Characterization of Polymeric Nanoparticles

Tau Aggregation Inhibition by Nanoparticles

Quick-RNA MicroPrep microkit columns was obtained from Zymo Research (#R1051, California, Irvine, CA, USA). The ImProm-IITM Reverse Transcription System kit was obtained from Promega, (#A3800, Wisconsin, Madison, WI, USA). QIAquick Gel Extraction Kit was obtained from Qiagen (#28704, Maryland, Germantown, MD, USA). Unless otherwise noted, all chemicals were of the purest grade.

Alzheimer's Disease Protein Aggregation Study

The cell culture reagents were purchased form Invitrogen. 400 carbon coated copper grids were purchased from Ted Pella (01822-F). 10 mM and 1 mM stock solutions of Baicalein were prepared in ethanol. 12.5 mM mother stock of ThS was prepared in 1:1 ethanol: miliQ water, which was further diluted to 200 μM stock in filtered miliQ water. ANS was prepared as 10 mM stock in filtered miliQ.

Protein Purification Using Chromatography

Protein-G-Sepharose and Superdex 200 HR 10/30 chromatographic columns were from GE Healthcare (GE Healthcare, New York, NY, USA).
