Lambda 35 uv vis system

Manufactured by PerkinElmer

The Lambda 35 UV/Vis System is a compact, high-performance double-beam spectrophotometer designed for a wide range of UV/Vis applications. It features a wavelength range of 190 to 1100 nm, variable slit widths, and a photometric range of -4 to 4 Abs. The system provides accurate and reliable absorbance measurements for various sample types.

Absorption spectra (Lambda 35 UV/Vis System, PerkinElmer) and emission spectra (FluoTime 300, PicoQuant) were recorded in HEPES buffer (100 mM, pH 7.4) and deionized water (purified by Purelab Option-Q equipped with bio-filter, ELGA LabWater) for Tb and Cy5.5 samples, respectively.

Absorption spectra were recorded by a Lambda 35 UV/Vis System (PerkinElmer). PL decay curves were obtained by an EI fluorescence plate reader (Edinburgh Instruments) by the use of 4000 detection bins with 2 μs integration time and excitation at 337.1 nm with a nitrogen laser (20 Hz, VSL 337 ND, Spectra-Physics). Optical bandpass filters (Semrock) were (494 ± 10) nm for the Tb detection, (660 ± 7), (607 ± 5) and (707 ± 13) nm for the QD650, QD605 and QD705 detection channels, respectively.

Copper(II) Pyridine-2,4-dicarboxylate Synthesis

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
All chemicals and solvents used for the synthesis were of AR grade. Triethylamine, copper(II) nitrate trihydrate, were obtained from E. Merck, India. Pyridine-2,4dicarboxylic acid and 2-picolylamine (2-aminomethylpyridine) were purchased from Aldrich Chemical Co. All chemicals were used without further purification. Elemental analyses (carbon, hydrogen and nitrogen) were performed with a Perkin Elmer 2400 II Elemental Analyser. Copper(II) content of 1 has been estimated quantitatively by standard iodometric procedure. The Fourier transform infrared spectrum was recorded on a Perkin Elmer RX-I FT-IR spectrophotometer, with solid KBr disc, in the range 4000-400 cm -1 . Solid state UV-Vis spectrum of the title complex was recorded on a Perkin Elmer Lambda 35 UV-Vis system in the range 1100-200 nm. TG analysis was performed with a Perkin-Elmer (Singapore) Pyris Diamond TGA unit. Thermal study was performed at the temperature range 35-800 °C by maintaining the heating rate at 5 °C min -1 in a stream of nitrogen flowing at the rate of 50 mL min -1 with the sample in a platinum crucible. Powder X-ray diffraction was performed on a Bruker D8 instrument with Cu-Kα radiation. (2,4-

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
