MRSA Metabolomic Profiling via UHPLC-MS

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
The MRSA was ground with liquid nitrogen and its metabolites analysis was carried out to analyze using a Vanquish UHPLC system coupled with an Orbitrap Q Exactive series mass spectrometer (Thermo Fisher, USA). The analytical conditions and quanti ed as a previously described study. Metabolites were relatively quanti ed by calculating the area of each individual peak with signi cant differences in content were set with thresholds of variable importance in projection (VIP) ≥1 and fold change ≥1.5 or ≤0.67. Six replicates were performed in metabolomics analysis, which was carried out by Novogene.

Colonic Metabolite Profiling by UHPLC-MS

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
The procedure of microbial metabolite measurement as our previously describe [19] using Vanquish UHPLC system (Thermo Fisher) coupled with an Orbitrap Q Exactive series mass spectrometer (Thermo Fisher). Brie y, the homogenate of grounded colonic digesta was centrifuged. The obtained supernatant was diluted with LC-MS grade water and centrifuged for 10 min, and nally injected into the LC-MS/MS system analysis. Raw UHPLC-MS/MS data was analyzed by Compound Finder 3.1 (CD3.1, Thermo Fisher Scienti c Waltham, MA, USA) to peak alignment, peak pick-up, and quanti cation of each metabolite.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
