Synthesis of Metal-Organic Frameworks
Magnetic Hydrogel Synthesis with Acrylic Acid and Vinylsulfonic Acid
acrylic acid (AA) (Sigma-Aldrich) and vinylsulfonic acid (VSA) (Sigma-Aldrich)
as monomers, along with benzoyl peroxide (BPO) (HiMedia) and ethylene
glycol dimethacrylate (EGDMA) (Alfa Aesar) as an initiator and a cross-linker,
respectively. For Fe3O4 nanoparticle synthesis,
iron(II) chloride tetrahydrate (FeCl2·4H2O) (Sigma-Aldrich) and iron(III) chloride (FeCl3·6H2O) (Sigma-Aldrich) were used. The required aqueous solutions
were prepared with deionized water, and the pH of aqueous solutions
was maintained by adding appropriate amounts of HCl (0.05 M) or NaOH
(0.05 M) solutions (Merck).
About PubCompare
Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.
We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.
However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
