Cell cycle detection kit

Manufactured by Nanjing Jiancheng
Sourced in China

The Cell Cycle Detection Kit is a laboratory instrument designed to analyze the cell cycle distribution of a cell population. It provides quantitative information on the percentage of cells in different phases of the cell cycle, such as G0/G1, S, and G2/M phases. The kit utilizes flow cytometry technology to measure the DNA content of individual cells, which is a key indicator of the cell cycle stage.

Cell Cycle Analysis by Flow Cytometry

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
The cell cycle was analyzed using a cell cycle detection kit following the manufacturer’s protocols (Nanjing Jiancheng Bioengineering Institute). Cells were plated in six-well plates at a density of 105 cells/well in 2 ml medium. Cells were collected and fixed in 70% ethanol at −20 °C overnight. After centrifugation at 400 × g for 5 min, cells were suspended in 100 μl RNase solution and incubated at 37 °C for 30 min. Then 400 μl PI solution was added and incubated for another 30 min at 4 °C. The cell cycle was analyzed using flow cytometry.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
