Pe conjugated anti cd95 antibody

Manufactured by BD

The PE-conjugated anti-CD95 antibody is a laboratory reagent used for the detection and analysis of CD95 (also known as Fas or APO-1) expression on cells. CD95 is a cell surface receptor that plays a role in the regulation of programmed cell death (apoptosis). The PE (Phycoerythrin) conjugation allows for the fluorescent detection of cells expressing CD95 using flow cytometry or other fluorescence-based analysis techniques.

CD95 Induction Independent of Fc Receptor Interaction

Ramos cells were incubated overnight at 37° C., 6% CO2 with various concentrations of the human anti-CD40 mAb's, (both whole IgG and F(ab′)2 fragments as indicated). The next day they were washed once with PBA and stained with PE-conjugated anti-CD95 antibody (Becton Dickinson) for 20 minutes at room temperature with shaking. The excess labeled antibody was washed off and the samples read a FACSCanto II™ instrument (BD Biosciences, NJ, USA). Results are shown in FIG. 17. These data indicate that Fc receptor interactions are not required by 3G5 to induce the expression of CD95 on the CD40+ human lymphoblastoid line Ramos.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
