4 protocols using spss statistics software version 20

1

Comparative Evaluation of Treatments

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
All values were expressed as mean ± SEM. Results were analyzed statistically by using One-Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), by using Duncan’s multiple range test (DMRT) using IBM SPSS Statistics software version 20, followed by multiple Dunnett’s test (GraphPad Prism 10). The p < 0.05 was considered as significant. The effects of different treated groups were compared with that of normal groups.

Substance Use and Psychiatric Diagnosis

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Statistical analysis was performed by using IBM SPSS® Statistics software, version 20 and GraphPad 5.0 software for Windows (La Jolla, CA, USA). Independence between substance use and psychiatric diagnosis, as well as between substance use and symptoms at admission, was analyzed using a two-tailed Fisher’s exact test. Correlation between substance categories or groups and psychiatric scales scores was analyzed by linear regression. Data concerning scale scores according to categories and groups of substances were analyzed by one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), followed by Tukey’s post hoc test. For all tests, a p value of <0.05 was considered statistically significant.

Suicidal Ideation and Substance Abuse

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Statistical analysis was performed by using IBM SPSS® Statistics software, version 20, and GraphPad 5.0 software for Windows (La Jolla, CA, USA). One-way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) followed by Tukey’s post-hoc test was used to assess whether there was a significant difference in the intensity of suicidal ideation in life and in the previous month (total score, frequency, duration, and controllability) among subjects who abused the different categories (psychodepressors, psychostimulants, psychodysleptics) or groups (opioids, stimulants, empathogens/enthactogens, psychedelics, cannabinoids, dissociatives) of substances. Regression analysis with Spearman’s correlation values (ρ) was applied to assess the significant positive or negative correlations between the intensity of suicidal ideation in life and the previous month (total score, frequency, duration, and controllability) and scores of psychiatric scales. For all tests, a two-tailed p-value < 0.05 was considered statistically significant.

Prescription Drug Abuse and Substance Use

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Statistical analysis was performed by using IBM SPSS® Statistics software, version 20 and GraphPad 5.0 software for Windows (La Jolla, CA, USA). Fisher's exact test was used to determine whether or not there was a significant association between the categorical variables “abuse of prescription drugs” and “use of distinct categories of psychoactive substances.” Spearman's correlation value (ρ) was calculated to determine if variables (abuse of prescription drugs and categories of substances) were positively or negatively correlated. Independent samples t-test was used to determine whether or not there was a significant difference in scale scores between subjects who abused and subjects who did not abuse prescription drugs. One-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) followed by Tukey's post-hoc test was used to assess whether or not there was a significant difference in scale scores among subjects who abused different classes of prescription drugs. For all tests, a two-tailed p-value <0.05 was considered statistically significant.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
