Planarian Fixation and Staining
Planarian Immunohistochemistry Protocol
To stain C. albicans cells, infected animals were sacrificed in 10% NAC diluted in PBS. The planarians were then fixed in 4% formaldehyde in PBTx and permeabilized in 1% SDS. The animals were bleached in 3% H2O2 in 1× PBS. The primary antibody used was anti-Candida, 1:500 (Thermo Fisher Cat# PA1-27158). The secondary antibody used was goat anti-rabbit Alexa568, 1:800 (Invitrogen Cat# 11036).

About PubCompare
Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.
We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.
However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
