Toxicity Screening of 1-Chlorooctadecane in Date Palm Dust Mites

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
1-Chlorooctadecane (CH3 (CH2) 16CH2 Cl) was screened from our preliminary study (data not shown) on the chemical fractionation of Cucumis sativus that showed toxicity against date palm dust mites (data not shown). The identified fraction, 1-Chlorooctadecane, selected for the current study was purchased from Sigma–Aldrich in pure form (Cat # 238368; CAS Number 3386-33-2) to perform compatibility, toxicity, and synergistic studies. The stock solution of the 1-Chlorooctadecane was prepared by dissolving in ethanol.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
