Luciferase assay report kit

Manufactured by Promega

The Luciferase Assay Report Kit is a laboratory equipment designed to measure and quantify the activity of the luciferase enzyme. The kit provides the necessary reagents and protocols to perform luciferase-based assays, which are commonly used in research applications to study gene expression, cell viability, and other biological processes.

Luciferase Assay for WEE1 3'UTR Mutations

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
PCR products corresponding to the 56-bp of WEE1 3’UTR and mutations in the 56-bp of WEE1 3’UTR region were purified and cloned into Promega psiCHECK2 luciferase vector (Promega). MiaPaCa2 cells were transfected with these plasmids in 6-well plates. After 48 h of transfections, cells were treated and luciferase activity was measured with a luciferase assay report kit (Promega) as previously described (32 (link)). For double transfections, cells were first transfected with siRNA HuR or control and 24 h later transfected with luciferase constructs.

Rice Protoplast Isolation and Transformation

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Isolation of rice protoplasts and PEG transformation were performed as described previously (Kawano et al., 2010; Wang et al., 2018) . Protein preparation and luciferasesubstrate interaction were conducted with a Luciferase Assay Report Kit (Promega).
Luciferase activity was measured by a microplate reader (Thermo Scientific Varioskan Flash). We used mean values of three independent replications.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
