reverse transcription kit (Promega). Quantitative
polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) was performed
using SYBR Green (Invitrogen, USA) on a
Rotor-Gene 3000 PCR system (Corbett Robotics,
Australia). β-actin expression was used to
normalize gene expression. Relative mRNA levels
were measured by the means of the 2-ΔΔCt method
