Potassium 2,5-dihydroxybenzenesulfonate (SHQ), 2,6-difluorobenzonitrile (DFBN), deuterated dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO-d6) and N,N-dimethyl formamide (DMF) were obtained from Sigma Aldrich (Shanghai, China). Bisphenol A (BPA), phenolphthalein (PP), zinc (Zn), sodium hydroxide (NaOH), potassium carbonate (K2CO3), N-methyl pyrrolidone (NMP), toluene, ethanol, tetrahydrofuran (THF), N,N-dimethylformamide (DMF), dichloromethane (CH2Cl2) and sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) were received from Chengdu Kelong Chemical Co. (Chengdu, China). Methylene blue (MB) and methyl orange (MO) were purchased from Sinopharm chemical reagent (Shanghai, China). Phenolphthalin (PPL) was synthesized from phenolphthalein (PP), Zn and NaOH.

Synthesis of Phenolphthalin from Phenolphthalein

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
2,6-difluorobenzonitrile (DFBN, AR) and potassium hydroquinonesulfonate (SHQ, AR) were supplied by Sigma Aldrich (Shanghai, China). Phenolphthalein (PP, AR), anhydrous potassium carbonate (K2CO3, AR), N-methyl pyrrolidone (NMP, AR), toluene (AR), ethanol (AR), hydrochloric acid (AR), and N,N-Dimethylacetamide (DMAc, AR) were supplied by Chengdu Kelong Chemical Co. (Chengdu, China). All the materials above were used as received without further purification. The synthesis of phenolphthalin (PPL) from PP was implemented according to the literature [26 (link)].

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
