Lysm cre mice

Manufactured by GemPharmatech
Sourced in China

LysM-Cre mice are a strain of transgenic mice that express Cre recombinase under the control of the lysozyme M (LysM) promoter. LysM is a gene that is primarily expressed in myeloid cells, including monocytes, macrophages, and granulocytes. The Cre recombinase enzyme allows for the conditional deletion or modification of target genes in these cell types.

Brd9-flox mice (Strain NO. T008489), LysM-Cre mice (Strain NO. T003822), and WT C57BL/6J mice (Strain NO. N000013) from GemPharmatech (Nanjing, China) and tdTomato (Strain NO. 007909) mouse line62 (link) from Jackson Laboratory (Maine, USA) were used and cross-bred in this study. All mice were used for analysis regardless of sex. All mice were housed in pathogen-free conditions with constant ambient temperature (22 ± 2 °C) and humidity (55 ± 10%), with an alternating 12-h light/dark cycle. All mice were euthanized by carbon dioxide overdose followed by cervical dislocation. All animal studies were approved by the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee at Ninth People’s Hospital, School of Medicine, Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SH9H-2022-A926-1).

Genetically Modified Mice for Macrophage-Specific Tim-3 KO

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Both experimental and breeding mice were housed in a pathogen-free animal facility. All animal experiments were subjected to approval by the Animal Ethics Committee of Nanchang University (CDYFY-IACUC-202301QR046). C57BL/6 Tim-3fl/fl and Lys M-Cre mice were procured from Gempharmatech Co. Ltd. (Nanjing, China). Tim-3 fl/fl mice were crossed with Lys M-Cre mice to obtain macrophage cell-specific Tim-3-knockout mice (LysMCre Tim-3 fl/fl; Tim-3M−KO).

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
