B6.129P2-Lyz2tm1(cre)lfo/J (LysMCre) mice were purchased from The Jackson Laboratory. Mice with a Wnt4 conditional allele have been described elsewhere (85 (link)) and were originally a kind gift from S. Vainio (Oulu University, Finland). Mice were bred and housed under specific pathogen-free conditions in sterile ventilated racks at the animal facility of INRS-Centre Armand-Frappier Santé Biotechnologie. All procedures were approved by the Comité institutionnel de la protection des animaux of the INRS and were conducted in accordance with the Canadian Council on Animal Care guidelines. Only female mice were used for the following experiments.
