Ethylene glycol (EG, 98%), 1,6-hexanediol (HD, 98%), and decahydronaphthalene were purchased from Chengdu Aikeda Chemical Reagent Co., Ltd. (Chengdu, China). Chloroform was obtained from Shenyang Xinxing Reagent Factory (Shenyang, China). Anhydrous methanol was obtained from Tianjin Damao Chemical Reagent Factory (Tianjin, China). Cutinase was prepared following the procedure reported in our previous work (Hu et al., 2016 (link)). All chemicals and reagents were of analytical grade.
