Malachite green reagent was prepared by separately dissolving 34 mg malachite green carbinol base (Sigma) in 40 mL of 1 N HCl and 1 g of ammonium molybdate (Sigma) in 15 mL of 4 N HCl. Solutions were vortexed and placed on a rotational shaker for 1 h at room temperature. The volume of each solution was increased to 50 mL using H2O, and then combined and filtered through a 0.22 μm filter. The amount of reagent prepared was scaled as appropriate.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
