Trp53loxp
The Trp53loxP/+ is a laboratory mouse strain that carries a loxP-flanked (floxed) Trp53 allele. Trp53 is the gene that encodes the p53 protein, a key regulator of cellular processes. This mouse model allows for the conditional deletion or modification of the Trp53 gene in a cell-type or tissue-specific manner using Cre recombinase technology.

Pdx1-CreERT2 mice were provided by Dr. Douglas A. Melton (Harvard University) and described previously.52 (link) Inducible Cre-mediated gene deletion was achieved by i.p. injection of tamoxifen (Sigma) at a dose of 200 mg/kg bodyweight on three alternate days at 3 to 4 weeks of age. tamoxifen was dissolved in corn oil (Sigma) at a concentration of 20 mg/mL.
About PubCompare
Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.
We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.
However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
