Mouse experiments were carried out in compliance with National Institutes of Health regulations and approval from the Animal Care and Use Committee of the Vaccine Research Center. Six week old female BALB/cJ mice (Jackson Laboratories) were inoculated intramuscularly with Sigma Adjuvant System, at weeks 0 and 3, as detailed previously^{49 (link)}.
