Sequencing libraries (25 pM) were chemically denatured and applied to an Illumina HiSeq v4 paired end flow cell using an Illumina cBot. Hybridized molecules were clonally amplified and annealed to sequencing primers with reagents from an Illumina HiSeq PE Cluster Kit v4-cBot. Following transfer of the flow cell to an Illumina HiSeq 2500 instrument (HCS v2.2.38 and RTA v1.18.61), a 125 cycle paired-end sequence run was performed using HiSeq SBS Kit v4 sequencing reagents.

RNA was extracted from cells using RNeasy Kit from Qiagen. The RNA-seq libraries were generated using Illumina TruSeq Stranded mRNA sample preparation kit with oligo dT selection. Following transfer of the flowcell to an Illumina HiSeq instrument at the University of Utah High-Throughput Genomics Core, a 125 cycle paired-end sequence run was performed using HiSeq SBS Kit v4 sequencing reagents with six samples multiplexed in each Illumina lane. The average number of reads per sample ranged from 38 to 58 million reads.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
