Tween 80 is a non-ionic surfactant commonly used in laboratory applications. It is a polyoxyethylene sorbitan monooleate, a chemical compound with the formula C64H124O26. Tween 80 is a clear, viscous liquid with a mild odor. It is soluble in water and various organic solvents.
