Formic acid (FA, 28905) and Halt Phosphatase and Protease Single-Use Inhibitor Cocktail (78443) were purchased from Thermo Scientific (Rockford, IL, U.S.A.). Tris base (T1503), hydrochloric acid (HCl, #320331), benzonase nuclease (E1014), and magnesium chloride (MgCl₂, M8266) were purchased from Sigma-Aldrich (St. Louis, MO, U.S.A.). Sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) was purchased from Bio-Rad (Hercules, CA, U.S.A.). Sodium butyrate (A11079) was purchased from Alfa Aesar (Tewksbury, MA, U.S.A.). 1,4-Dithiothreitol (DTT, CAS# 3483–12–3) was purchased from EMD Millipore (Darmstadt, Germany).
