Agilent rna 6000 pico kit and small rna kit

Manufactured by Agilent Technologies
Sourced in Germany, United States

The Agilent RNA 6000 Pico Kit and Small RNA Kit are lab equipment used for the analysis of RNA samples. The Pico Kit is designed for the analysis of small amounts of RNA, while the Small RNA Kit is specifically for the analysis of small RNA molecules such as microRNA. Both kits utilize the Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer system to provide automated, quantitative, and qualitative assessment of RNA samples.

Exosomal RNA Extraction and Analysis

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
EV RNA extraction was performed using the miRCURY RNA Isolation Kit - Cell & Plant (#300110, Exiqon) following the manufacturer’s instructions. In brief, exosome pellet was lysed with the provided lysis solution supplemented with 96–100% ethanol, and the mixture was loaded to the column. The EV RNA was washed and eluted with 15–50 µL of RNase-free water. The extracted RNA concentration was calculated by Quant-IT RiboGreen (Invitrogen; Thermo Fisher Scientific, Waltham, MA, USA). RNA size was confirmed using Agilent RNA 6000 Pico Kit and Small RNA Kit on Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer (Agilent Technologies, Waldbronn, Germany).

Optimized RNA Extraction for Tissues

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Total RNA, including miRNA, was isolated from tissue samples using miRNeasy Mini kit (Qiagen, Hilden, Germany). Tissues were homogenized (IKA Works, Staufen, Germany) with 700 µL QIAzol lysis buffer (Qiagen). Homogenates were processed according to the manufacturer’s instructions. RNA was eluted with RNase-free water. The integrity of the RNA was confirmed using Agilent RNA 6000 Pico Kit and Small RNA Kit on Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer (Agilent Technologies, Santa Clara, CA, USA).

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
