Glutathione and Bz-Arg-OEt were purchased from the Peptide Institute, Inc. (Osaka, Japan). Casein was purchased from Fuji Film Wako Pure Chemicals, Ltd. (Osaka, Japan). All chemicals and solvents used were of reagent grade. The cDNA encoding proCCN (Supplementary Materials Figure S4) was prepared by Eurofins Japan (Tokyo, Japan), and its codon bias was optimized for an E. coli expression system using the manufacture’s program GENEius (http://www.geneius.de/; accessed on 13 May 2017). Protein solutions and E. coli cells were centrifuged using CF15RXII (HITACHI, Tokyo, Japan).

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
